Boids Simulation

An interactive C++/SFML flocking simulation built around separation, alignment, and cohesion.

Context

Exploring how simple local rules combine into group movement.

What it does

  • Three flocking rules
  • wraparound movement
  • on-screen controls for steering parameters and perception radius
  • graphical rendering with SFML

Engineering focus

Each agent combines nearby agents' positions and velocities into steering forces. Adjustable parameters make the relationship between individual rules and the visible flock easier to explore.

My role

Development work represented in my public repository.
